The Intermediate and Senior Phase comprises of Grades 4 – 7. The school follows the National Curriculum, with particular focus on the Curriculum Assessment Policy (CAPS) and aims to produce learners who are able to think critically using higher order thinking skills.
The use of Continuous Assessment allows learners the opportunity to feel a sense of achievement after the completion of each task. Frequent contact with parents, in order to give feedback, means that education becomes a true partnership between educators, learners and parents. Learners are enriched by attending lessons with Specialist Educators for Physical Education, Setswana, Religious Education, Technology and CAT (Computer Application Technology.) Every effort is made to create a relaxed, yet disciplined environment, in which focused teaching and learning can occur.
A stimulating Media and Computer Centre is available, which is used for research as well as to ensure that the learners develop a passion for the written word.
As Vitality pre and primary private school an English medium school, learners and staff are expected to communicate in English during school hours. The school strives to maintain a cutting-edge approach to both curriculum and content.
Learners are encouraged to care for each other, and for those who are less fortunate, by participating in the school’s Outreach Programme.
