Boilermakers install and maintain boiler systems. Boilermakers assemble, install, maintain, and repair boilers, closed vats, and other large vessels or containers that hold liquids and gases
This is a physically demanding trade. Boiler and vat components are quite heavy – and boilermakers need to be able to move them into place when assembling the equipment and hold them for long periods of time when necessary. Understanding of safety rules and procedures
They use knowledge of industrial hoists to lift and manoeuvre heavy metal parts into place when assembling boilers and tanks. Being able to use welding machines is another key mechanical skill for boilermakers as they frequently weld metal sheets together to fabricate industrial boilers.
NB: you can do this training course without maths and physics subjects, your understanding, reading measurements and hand safety tools and creativity is all that matters.
