Generators are manufactured to run at 80% of its maximum output when at sea-level and in a neutral climate. Factors such as altitude and temperature can affect the efficiency of your engine therefore, creating less power.

Limitations of use:

Do not use of more than 50% of your generator’s rated load for your “first step load”.
Do not use of more than 75% of your generator’s rated load for your “Running load”.
These limitations are set to account for any spikes or drops in current that naturally occur in the combustion process of fuel powered generators.
