Business Development Consultant
We are are a Lighting company that delivers comprehensive, end-to-end lighting solutions for all markets.
We are seeking a Business Development Consultant to prospect new clients and establish a size-able footprint in Gauteng and surroundings.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Demonstrate great prospecting skills to identify new accounts and key decision makers
Leverage our business resources and solution selling to expand under-penetrated customers & accounts.
Manage a book of business consisting of customers currently doing no business with us.
Ensure that customers are aware of our capabilities in providing end-to-end solutions to the Gauteng market.
Work and communicate effectively with senior leaders in the business.
Report progress against opportunities to share verifiable outcomes
Facilitate the placement of customer orders and monitors fulfillment process
Maintain appropriate professional and technical knowledge of the industry.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
SKILLS WE ARE SEEKING:
Must have a vast network of relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
3 - 8 years min. new customer sales experience - required
3 – 5 years Lighting industry experience – preferred
