Liaise with clients on a daily basis and maintain open communication with them: This
involves regularly interacting with clients, addressing their inquiries, providing updates
on shipments, and ensuring a smooth flow of communication.
Book all collection orders and booking of vehicles with clients: This task involves
coordinating and arranging the collection of goods or shipments from clients, as well as
booking appropriate transportation vehicles to transport the goods.
Receive and manage export and import documents: This includes handling various
documents related to export and import processes, such as pre-alerts, SAD 500, customs
declarations, custom sheets, and invoices. You would be responsible for organizing,
reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy of these documents.
Generate, manage, and update daily tracking reports: This involves creating tracking
reports to monitor the status and progress of shipments, managing the information in
these reports, and updating them regularly to reflect any changes or developments.
Run the customer account from start to finish: This means overseeing the entire process
of managing a customer's account, from the initial booking of shipments to the final
delivery. It includes coordinating with different departments and ensuring all necessary
tasks are completed efficiently.
Act as the main point of contact for client controllers: You would be the primary contact
person for client controllers, who are responsible for overseeing shipments on behalf of
the client. This involves addressing their queries, providing information and updates,
and maintaining a strong working relationship with them.
Checking, managing clearance, and forwarding export/import documents at borders in
the SADC and Central Africa region: This task involves verifying the accuracy of
export/import documents, managing the customs clearance process, and ensuring the
smooth movement of shipments across borders within the SADC (Southern African
Development Community) and Central Africa region.
Communicating with border agents and runners on export and import: This entails
interacting and coordinating with border agents and runners who are involved in the
transportation and clearance of goods at border points. You would need to provide
them with necessary instructions, information, and documentation to ensure compliance
with customs regulations.
Invoicing and loading proof of delivery (POD) on the customer's transportation
management system (TMS) and emailing them to the client: This task involves
generating invoices for services rendered, loading proof of delivery (POD) documents
into the customer's transportation management system, and sending them to the client
for confirmation.
Management of PODs: This involves organizing and managing proof of delivery
documents, ensuring their accuracy
