Claims Administrator duties:
* Loading and processing of claims onto the system for funeral, disability, hospital claims
* Liaising with external parties such as police, doctors, hospitals to obtain required documents - reports, accounts
* Good administration and record keeping skills
* Telephonic member communication per SLA requirements
* Customer service, telephone etiquette - client focus
* Work in a team reporting to a team leader
* High pressure, high volumes
* Good mathematical skills for accurate claims and high attention to detail
* Problem solver for quick resolution of queries
* Ad hoc duties as may be required
* Matric Certificate a MUST (Mathematics essential)
* FAIS compliant or significant progress (Qualification, RE5, Class of Business, Product Knowledge, Experience)
* Customer Service Certificate/Training
* 2-3 years funeral, hospital, disability claims experience in the health insurance industry
* Insurance policy and product knowledge including hospital, funeral, disability, gap cover
* Medical terminology and clinical knowledge
* MS Office
R16 000 - R18 000 CTC depending on experience (including Provident Fund and Medical Insurance)
