Purpose of the Role:
The company is the Adobe chapter. It comprised of developers and, support and operations. From an operational point of view they maintain and operate the "RMO" components of Online (Adobe Marketing Cloud suite of products, SAP Hybris and PASL).
In terms of development you focus primarily on AEM - Adobe Experience Manager & AEM Forms / Java development. Having knowledge of Adobe Campaigns, Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics will be highly beneficial.
As a chapter they want to focus on high quality software with low defect and incident counts. Implementing sound software engineering principles, actively reduce technical debt with a view that doing a good job now makes our lives easier in the future.
As an Adobe/AEM developer you are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of the product, its features and how to build solutions without having to re-invent the wheel.
Java developer responsibilities include designing, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and custom solutions.

Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements.
Writing well designed, testable, efficient code.
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
Prepare and produce releases of software components.
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Develop AEM solutions based on best practices.
Develop, document, and implement AEM Forms solutions.
Develop using TDD principles.

You have sound AEM/Adobe product knowledge, specifically:
Custom metadata schemas and profiles
Smart content and asset insights
AEM Forms (HTML5, XFA)
Experienced in test-driven development (TTD) methodologies using Junit and Mockito.
Experienced in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, particularly using the Java language.
