Mother of thousands plants are small succulents native to Madagascar.
They like bright shade or full sun, and can be grown indoors, outdoors, in containers or in flowerbeds. For full care instructions, just Google 'mother of thousands plant'.
Note that they are poisonous when eaten. (I have seen them in flowerbeds in many SA gardens, but I would recommend growing them in indoor containers instead, to keep them from being eaten by kids and pets.)
I would be happy to swop some of them for any hardy, healthy, indigenous plant that you have. Send me a picture of your plant if you want to swop.
