I have a 2013 Tsi Amarok.
Just spend 154k to recon the whole engine and basically replace everything under the hood.
I've got all Invoices off everything that was replaced, I still have a enigen knock. The bakkie starts and drives.
Looking at selling funds ran out to keep repairing.
