This carpet was hand knotted in the city of Tabriz in North Western Persia. It is a sturdy durable carpet with a short rough pile. The floral pattern consists of a centrally placed bloom surrounded by flowers, buds, leaves and vines depicting summer days in the Persian countryside. This style is well known for its vibrant colours. This carpet needs fringe repairs and a bit of care. Once restored it will be a high end Persian carpet.
