A new scam has been sticking out it's ugly head on Junk Mail and other classifieds websites over the last few weeks. This transport scam requires users to pay a deposit for transport services that they never receive. Many of you reading this article are probably aware of the fraudulent advert responses. Scammers tend to target electronics or other high priced items for sale on Junk Mail and other classifieds websites. Fraudulent advert responses comes in many shapes. It has come to our attention that scammers are targeting small business owners. They operate via SMS. A Junk Mail user (who runs a catering company) recently made us aware of this. The scammer sent him a SMS to ask for a catering quote. The SMS read as follows: "Hie send a quotation for catering on the 27/02/2013. Watch out for Scammers Selling Shipping Containers

A new scam has come to our attention. Scammers are pretending to sell shipping containers and defrauding potential buyers. The scam works almost the same as the holding deposit scam and the fake vehicle scam. Users are asked to pay an amount before they view the container. We were made aware of this by a Junk Mail user.
